Self Catering Apartment with stunning sea view and 5 mins walk from Carbis Bay Beach!

We are a one bedroom adult only, pet free, ground floor apartment with free on site parking. It is the ultimate destination for a holiday or romantic break. The minute you walk into the living area your breath will be taken away by the stunning sea view through the fully opening French doors.

New build in 2010 and upgraded in March 2021. The apartment boasts a completely new bathroom with rain shower plus a new heating system has been installed.

Furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind – luxury leather sofa, high quality king size Tempur bed, fully equipped kitchen, free fibre Wi-FI and Smart TV.

Coast/Beach

There is a path from the back garden down to the St Ives to Carbis Bay coastal path. For the more adventurous, it’s only a 5 minute walk to Carbis Beach.

Living Area

The Living Room has a very comfortable leather sofa, 43″ LG Smart TV which is wall mounted plus DVD player/recorder. Fibre Wi-Fi is standard. The dining area has a solid wood table with 2 chairs.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a 5′ king size Tempur luxury bed with large wardrobe, bedside cabinets and bedside reading lights. There is also a drawer unit. A wall mounted TV with built in DVD plus a clock radio.

Bathroom

Brand new in March 2021, this fully tiled and spacious bathroom boasts a Karndean floor with a tall heated towel rail. The large, luxury rain shower also has a normal shower attached. A large illuminated mirror has built in power for shavers and electric toothbrushes. The new Roca sink and vanity unit with storage drawers plus a new toilet complete the luxury feel.

Kitchen

The superb handmade kitchen features a large Fridge/Freezer. The well equipped kitchen includes items such as microwave, fan oven with solar grill and dishwasher. Scales, lap trays and a host of normal kitchen items are just a small part of the attention to detail.

Utility Area

The hall cupboard has a fitted washing machine with built in tumble dryer.

Garden

The apartment benefits from a private decked area with patio table and chairs for alfresco dining or just unwinding with a glass of wine and enjoying the stunning view. There is also a shared garden available, which has paths down to the beach and costal paths.

Cleaning/Towels

Towels and bedlinen are all provided (just need to bring flannels). The apartment is thoroughly cleaned every Saturday (or the changeover day if on a mid-week break) and guests have commented it looked ‘sparkling’ on arrival! The sheets and linen are also changed on this day.

Fresh Filtered Air

We have invested in an EnviroVent ECO2 unit. This is an energy efficient unit that introduces fresh, filtered air into the apartment and dilutes and replaces some of the air, much like opening windows. This is a healthier environment for the apartment.

Accessibility

The apartment is on the ground floor and your car can be parked free of charge just a few yards from our front door.

The private drive down to Fernhill Apartments (off St Ives Road) is quite steep but probably less than 50 yards long (45 metres). There is room for one vehicle at a time. Unless you walk to the beach, via the back garden, this is the only access road. However, once you’ve parked your car, the walk from the car to the apartment is a few steps which is virtually flat. There are no steps to get into the apartment.

You can reach Carbis Bay Beach from the back garden without touching the road – but beware it is a steep decline and the return walk is not for the faint hearted. Alternatively, you can drive to the beach.

Booking Notes

No booking fee. £100 deposit against damage/breakages is required. This will be returned in full, normally within 14 days of vacation of property, assuming no loss or damage has been incurred. One third deposit is required with booking with balance payable 8 weeks prior to occupation. St Ives Holiday Direct reserve the right to refuse any booking.
